Fatally Stabbed Man Identified at Northwest DC Resident
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a fatal stabbing in Rock Creek Park.
Police have identified Matias Molina, 49 of Northwest DC, as the man whose body was found fatally stabbed on the bank of Rock Creek Monday evening.
Just before 8 p.m. Monday Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) received a report of a man's body on the bank of Rock Creek near Beach Drive and Joyce Road, NW.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy and determine the cause and manner of death.
MPD homicide detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing.
