Man Exposes Himself to Georgetown Students Saturday Morning

The incident happened around 9:15 a.m. near Village A.

Two Georgetown University students reported an indecent exposure incident that occurred around 9:15 a.m. Saturday morning.

The students told the Department of Pubic Safety that a man exposed himself on Prospect Street near Village A (west of 37th Street). The students walked away and the man did not make additional contact with them, according to the DPS Safety Alert.

According to a DPS alert sent Monday:

"The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 6'0" tall, muscular build, wearing a gray T-shirt and blue jeans. The suspect reportedly covered his face with his t-shirt during the incident."

The alert about the incident was sent to students Monday morning in part because the victims did not report it until approximately 1 a.m. Monday. The Metropolitan Police Department was alerted and reporting officers took a report.
