Park Police Seek Information on Hit and Run

A motorcyclist was hit on the Arlington Memorial Bridge on New Year's Eve.

The U.S. Park Police are seeking public assistance in tracking down a minivan that struck a motorcyclist on the Arlington Memorial Bridge at 5:45 a.m. New Year's Eve.

According to a press release about the incident:

A hit and run motor vehicle accident occurred inbound on Memorial Bridge this morning at 5:45 am. The victim was operating a motorcycle and sustained a serious leg injury as well as other non life threatening injuries. The suspect was operating a brown mini van which should have damage along the driver side front portion of the vehicle. Unfortunately there is no additional information concerning the mini van.

The U.S. Park Police is seeking the publics help with any information that might identify the mini van and the subject operating it.
