Police: Boy Robbed of Candy, iPhone in Georgetown on Halloween

The 12-year-old boy was attacked by several teenagers, according to media reports.

Police report that a 12-year-old boy enjoying Halloween in Georgetown was robbed of his candy and his iPhone, according to the Washington Times.

The Washington Times reports:

"Three teenage boys approached the 12-year-old and began striking him, making off with both his hard-earned candy and his cell phone. It was unclear whether the boy was by himself when he was attacked."

According to the Washington Post, the Georgetown incident, which happened on N Street, NW, was one of a dozen robberies across DC Halloween night and early Thursday morning.

The police report summary for the Georgetown incident indicates it happened on the sidewalk on the 2900 block of N Street, NW a little after 10 p.m.

The suspects in the Georgetown candy incident are described as "three boys between 15 and 16 years of age. One wore a blue and white jacket and another wore a leather jacket and jeans," according to the Washington Times.
