Report: Woman Found Floating at Georgetown Waterfront in Critical Condition

Call came to police at approximately 4:38 p.m.

A woman was pulled from the Potomac River Monday afternoon in Georgetown and is in critical condition, according to a report by WUSA-9.

DC Police responded to a call at approximately 4:38 p.m. after a body was spotted floating in the Potomac River near Water Street SW, according to the report.

WUSA reported that police initially said the woman was deceased, but she has reportedly been transported to a nearby hospital.
