Save The Date: Public Safety Meeting Oct. 27

The Citizens Association of Georgetown's Block Captains program will meet at the Safeway Saturday, Oct. 27.

A week from tomorrow, the Citizens Association of Georgetown will host its Fall Public Safety Meeting with Metropolitan Police Department Officer Antonial Atkins at the Safeway at 10 a.m.

The Oct. 27 meeting will give Atkins an opportunity to share safety tips with residents. He will also answer questions or concerns about safety in Georgetown.

  • Our village homeless population
  • Bike registration demonstration

All residents are welcome. The group will meet in the Georgetown Safeway Cafe on the second level of the store, located at 1855 Wisconsin Ave., at 10 a.m. Oct. 27.
