Second District Officers Adam Crist and Steven Green made an arrest Feb. 25 and charged the suspect with burglary and possession of drug paraphenalia.

The officers were responding to an alarm set off in a home on the 2700 block of P Street just before midnight. En route to the alarm, the officers spotted a man on the 2400 block of P Street with what MPD described as "a conspicuously large unwrapped electronic item." The man was trying to wave down a cab.

The officers stopped the man and briefly questioned him. The home where the alarm had been set off was found to be missing an electronic item that police then linked to the item in the man's possession.
