Week in Review: Crime Update

No need to wait for a monthly report. The crime update provides a list of the reported crimes and arrests in PSA 206 from Sept. 17 to Sept. 22.

Between Sept. 17 and Sept. 22 there were a total of 11 reported crimes in PSA 206, though one crime apparently occurred in August; all crimes were labeled as theft. Of the eleven, two were thefts from residences, one of which happened on Aug. 20.

Past weeks had seen several burglaries, ADWs and even a pair of stolen autos in early Sept. Last week, between Sept. 10 and Sept. 16 there were a total of 13 reported crimes in PSA 206, to include 2 thefts and 1 burglary from residences.

The next PSA 206 Community Meeting will be Wed., Sept. 28. There you can meet Metropolitan Police Officers (MPD) and other members of the community to discuss crime problems. Attend if you want to help identify solutions. The meeting is at the Georgetown BID Office at 1055 Thomas Jefferson St.
