A Grand Jury has indicted Albrecht Muth on the charge of first degree murder in the death of his wife Viola Drath in her Georgetown home, WJLA reports. Drath, 91, was , a medical examiner determined that .

According to the indictment order obtained by WJLA, a grand jury indicted Muth with aggravating circumstances:
"the murder was especially heinous, atrocious or cruel" and "the murder victim was especially vulnerable due to age."

Muth was , but the charge was elevated to first-degree murder "based on evidence presented to a D.C. Superior Court grand jury," according to The Washington Post.
Muth was in Washington, D.C. for a full mental evaluation. On Mar. 14, he will face arraingment and a competency determination.
