DDOT to Meet with Residents about the O&P Streets Rehabilitation Project

The District Department of Transportation will update residents on the construction plan for two Georgetown streets.

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will host a public meeting March 9 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at to discuss the plans for executing the O&P Streets Rehabilitation Project. last week on the long-awaited project, which is expected to last 18 months.

The plan is to maintain at least one lane of traffic flow, construction will focus on one side of one block at a a time. In addition to smoothing the familiar bumpy, jarring ride, the project will also allow improvements to streetlights, water, gas, and stormwater.
