Dog Park Proposed for Guy Mason

Residents want to make an ad hoc dog park official.

Residents of Glover Park, Burleith and Georgetown who frequent the 6,400-square-foot, ad hoc dog park at Guy Mason Recreation Center want to register it as an official Department of Parks and Recreation dog park.

An and members of the Dogs of Guy Mason Alliance (DOGMA) would formally register the dog park next to the baseball field at Guy Mason. DOGMA formed to advocate for the dog park at 3600 Calvert St. NW.

Their application indicates that they would like the park size, location and materials (wood chips) to remain the same.
