Expect Delays, Lane Closures on Canal Road
Friday and Saturday, drivers should expect stoppages and lane closures along Canal Road between Foxhall Road and Arizona Avenue.
Avoid Canal Road Friday and Saturday and save yourself a headache. The District Department of Transportation continues work on segments of Canal Road and drivers can expect lane closures and traffic stoppages mid-day Friday, Feb. 3 and all day Saturday, Feb. 4.
To allow DDOT crews to resurface the road between Foxhall Road and Arizona Avenue, flaggers will be alternating lane closures and enforcing five-minute stoppages between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday and between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday.
