Georgetown Resident Parking, Other Parking Issues Subject of Tuesday Meeting

DDOT will hold a community listening meeting on parking issues in Georgetown Tuesday 6:30 p.m.

Should there be restrictions that make Georgetown street parking available for neighborhood residents only? Should visitor parking permits be made obtainable online?

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is taking up parking issues such as these at a second community meeting tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 at St. John’s Church meeting room, 3204 O Street NW.

At a January meeting topics included whether there should be Residential Parking Permit (RPP) for ANC2E or the current RPP for all of Zone 2, enhanced enforcement of existing parking regulations, online Visitor Parking Passes and more.
