GU Testing the Soil for New Construction

The university received approval for a permit to drill soil tests on campus.

Georgetown University is testing the soil on campus for possible new construction locations.

On June 5 the University received approval for a permit to "drill three soil test borings down to 80ft below existing ground surface using 6-inch outer diameter hollow stem auger."

No word yet on just what that construction might entail, but additional construction could be in the works on campus.
