Jack Evans Advocates for Synchronized Traffic Lights

In case you missed it, today's WMAL interview with mayoral candidate Jack Evans

Washington, D.C. 2014 mayoral candidate Jack Evans will synchronize traffic lights in the city if he is elected mayor, the Georgetown representative said in an interview with WMAL on Wednesday.

"I drive across the city all the time, and it drives me crazy," Evans said.

He also talked about the district's minimum wage, public transportation and parking, as well as a push for the Washington Redskins football team to change its name.

Do you think synchronized lights could help move traffic on busy Georgetown streets, like Canal Road, M Street and Wisconsin Avenue?
