Mayor Vincent Gray will address budget issues related to Ward 2 residents.

Mayor Vincent Gray is going around the city to each ward to discuss his 2014 budget and will be coming to Ward 2 on Saturday, April 20. The meeting at the Charles Sumner School 1201 17th St. NW will run from 2 to 4 p.m.

The budget does not include any new taxes.

The format at previous budget town halls in recent years was a presentation by the mayor and chief financial officer followed by questions from attendees.

Evans was particularly pleased about funding to keep the DMV in Georgetown and expanded hours and days of service to seven days a week at all the District’s public libraries, according to a press release from his office.
