The O and P Street Project marches on and this Thursday project managers will hold a meeting with residents and businesses of the 3200 block of O Street to discuss construction timing and staging. The meeting is at 9:30 a.m. at (3240 O St., NW).
Businesses on the meeting before construction began there in February.
ANC Commissioner Ed Solomon, whose store is on the 3200 block of P Street, helped coordinate communications between the businesses and the project team. Solomon worked and residents as work progressed on his block and will be doing the same for the O Street businesses.
When neighbors back in March, Solomon was quick to empathize, but also quick to defend the merits of the project. Overall, he told Patch at the time most of the feedback he receives has been positive.
is sandwiched between the project streets and will also have some parking issues during construction, but luckily school will be out for the majority of the construction period.
As crews set their sights on the 3200 block, the 3400 block of O Street will be open to traffic by the end of this week.
