Traffic Alert: President Obama in Georgetown Tuesday Afternoon

He will be discussing fixing the nation's bridges, with the Key Bridge as a backdrop.

Traffic may get a little more tangled than usual in Georgetown Tuesday.

Water Street in Georgetown will be closed to traffic from 1 to 3 p.m. as President Obama comes to the area to talk about fixing the nation's bridges, using the Key Bridge as his backdrop, according to NBC-4 and Georgetown BID.

The bridge is getting repairs from the Highway Trust Fund, which expires at summer's end if Congress doesn't act, the TV station reported.

The President will speak at Georgetown's Waterfront Park, reportedly at 2:20 p.m.

There will be no parking on Water Street today until after 3 p.m.
