Trash Collection Slides One Day for July Fourth Holiday
Trash slides one day because of the holiday.
The D.C. Department of Public Works did not collect trash Thursday because of the July Fourth holiday. Thursday and Friday trash and recycling collections will “slide” to the next day.
Thursday’s collections will be made Friday and Friday’s collections will be made Saturday. For Burleith and Glover Park residents, who usually have their trash collected once a week on Thursdays, collection will happen today, Friday instead.
