Two Georgetown Area Pools Have Extended Hours Tuesday
Jelleff and Volta Park will both remain open later than usual tonight.
As District residents push through one of the harsher heat waves this summer D.C. agencies are making accomodations to provide cool places to stay out of the .
To help residents beat the heat, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will extend the hours of the following outdoor pools in Ward 2. Other pools throughout the District also have extended hours.
