West Heating Plant Discussions Continue Behind Closed Doors

Community leaders will meet to discuss the site's future.

The General Services Administration now plans to auction off the West Heating Plant beginning on an undetermined date in November, according to The Washington Post.

Funny how taxpayers want the Government to get the most from their unused assets in a sale until that sale involves them. Then all of a sudden the correct answers is the Government should provide the asset for free parks, etc and forgo the financial benefit to the taxpayers of highest and best use.
