Join us for this Free bi-monthly Collections presentation!
Bring your bag lunch, and munch while learning some fascinating facts about items in the Dumbarton House Collection, or related to the house's history.
Presented by local scholars and historians.

Independent scholar, collector and fashion historian Mary D. Doering will discuss a textile related to James and Dolley Madison's Montpelier, a bandana purported to have been worn by an enslaved worker. Held in the museum's Belle Vue Room. 30 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of Q & A, as your time allows. Reservations are not required -- but we'll be sure to have a seat for you if we know to expect you!

Parking is free but limited (behind the garden at 27th and Q Streets NW).
