Georgetown Yoga Studio Supports Yoga for At-risk Youth
Headstand will bring yoga to kids in Ward 8 through local charter schools.
Students in Ward 8 charter schools will be exposed to yoga during the 2012-2013 thanks to a California-based non-profit and support from local studios like .
"Through yoga and mindfulness curriculum that is infused into schools, Headstand helps students cope with stressful school and home environments" according to a press release.
Down Dog Yoga, located behind the , will help the program through fundraising and marketing support.
