Hyde-Addison Progressive Dinner a Success, Despite Wet Weather

The Hyde-Addison progressive dinner Saturday evening brought out over 100 parents and supporters of the Georgetown elementary school.

Guests of the Hyde-Addison progressive dinner enjoyed an evening of good food and good conversation for a good cause. Though the evening brought rain showers and many guests arrived for dessert a little wetter than expected, the mood was one of celebration.

Parents gathered at the home of Nancy Taylor Bubes and Alan Bubes to end the evening with dessert, coffee and a toast to Hyde-Addison elementary and a brief speech from the schools principal Dana Nerenberg.

"It's so neat that there are both parents of alumni who hosted this evening, parents of current students and also parents of incoming students," said Nerenberg.
