"I was in my room on the ninth floor of village c east (dorm) and the building started rattling and shaking so I went downstairs. Some officials started yelling into buildings to evacuate, but I didn't hear anyone in my dorm. People just congregated outside. They're making some people stay on the football field. Seems pretty disorganized. Only just got the official text to evacuate. "

Original: Patch received confirmation from Principal Dana Nerenberg that all students are safe following the that struck the Mid-Atlantic region on Tuesday afternoon.

"All of our students are safe," Nerenberg wrote in an emailed message. "We are on the playground reading, drawing and playing games."
