Sting, Paul Simon Headline Benefit for Georgetown's Duke Ellington School of the Arts

Event takes place Wednesday night in Bethesda.

Supporters of Georgetown's Duke Ellington School of the Arts will have the opportunity to help the school as well as see what will likely be an awesome concert by no other than Sting, Paul Simon and a special guest rumored to be Stevie Wonder.

Sting and Paul Simon are on tour together and carved out time for the benefit Wednesday night during their tour schedule; they perform in Washington Thursday night at the Verizon Center.

The concert takes place Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Music Center of Strathmore in Bethesda. The Performance Series of Legends is the signature fundraising event for the Duke Ellington School of the Arts.

Now in its seventh year, the annual event has previously featured performers  Patti LaBelle, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Denyce Graves, and Dave Chapelle.

In addition to performances by Sting, Paul Simon and the rumored special guest (Stevie Wonder), students from Ellington will also perform at the benefit concert event. Performance-only tickets start at $250.  Click here to purchase through Ticketmaster.

Sponsorship and VIP tickets, including a pre-show reception with an appearance by Sting, are available exclusively through the Ellington Fund. To learn more, call the Ellington Fund at (202) 333-2555 or email info@ellingtonarts.org.
