Video: Bulldog Summit at Georgetown University

The Georgetown and Butler University bulldog mascots met earlier this month.

Georgetown University released a video this week of the meeting between bulldog mascots from GU and Butler University earlier in February.

Tongue-lolling footage takes you behind the scenes of a photo shoot featuring Jack, JJ, Butler Blue II and Butler Blue III.

"Jack and Jack Jr. enjoyed the opportunity to discuss their experiences, best napping practices, and tips on avoiding the pup-arazzi," according to the University's Facebook page.

The Hoya reports that the pups met because Butler was in town playing against George Washington University. Butler is also a "potential future conference mate" for Georgetown.

Georgetown left the Big East in December.

Jack Jr. just joined the team as "mascot in training" last April.

He made his first Verizon Center appearance in January in the Hoyas' game against Louisville, Ky.

During the visit, Jack and JJ (Jack Jr.) "escorted the visiting dog-nitaries from Butler to Gaston Hall, where the four presented their peace-building initiative with cats from Georgetown's most famous stage," according to the GU Jack Facebook page.
