Stoddert Students Exhibit Natitude

Memories of a lifetime at Nats Park.

Fifth-graders from Stoddert Elementary took the field today as the Starting Nine for the second year in a row. They won the spots by selling the most tickets to the May 5th game against the Phillies. The students were on the field at Nationals Park for over an hour and got autographs during that time from Ryan Mattheus, Jordan Zimmermann, Sean Burnett, and Danny Espinoza. Casey, a first-baseman in a local little league, got to throw a practice ball to Espinoza during the pre-inning warm-up due to the awesomeness of Nats first baseman Adam LaRoache.
