7-Eleven Day is Thursday: Free Slurpees for All

This year, 7-Eleven is giving away bigger free Slurpees to celebrate 7/11.

The convenience store chain 7-Eleven continues its annual tradition this July 11 by offering free Slurpees to customers. 

Georgetown has one 7-Eleven at 2617 P St. NW. A second Georgetown store has been proposed for Wisconsin Avenue

7-Eleven patrons will be given a free 12 oz. Slurpee drink between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday. This is an increase in size from last year, when the store gave away free 7.11 oz. Slurpees—about 7 million of them.

7-Eleven is celebrating its 86th birthday this year. The Slurpee drink has been around for 46 years.
