'Pride and Prejudice' Draws Crowd at Dumbarton House

The outdoor film festival was an ode to Jane Austen, courtesy of Long & Foster.

The Jane Austen Film Fest at , courtesy of Long & Foster, was another success. It drew a crowd of more than 200 people Wednesday evening. 

Two interns decided to come after seeing the event advertised in the Express Wednesday morning.

Stephanie Gelband of New Jersey just finished reading "Pride and Prejudice" and her friend Wildivina Rosario told her about the free event at .

"I am a fan of the historic houses in this neighborhood and I frequently check Dumbarton House for events," said Karen Mowrer, a resident of Bethesda, Md. 

Attendees heard an excerpt from author Sandy Lerner's new book "Second Impressions" a sequel to Jane Austen’s "Pride and Prejudice."
