Closures for Route 50 West Ramp to Outbound Roosevelt Bridge
Closures will impact access to Route 50 West from the Roosevelt Bridge.
Drivers should find alternate routes to access Interstate Route 50 West because of lane closures of the ramp on the outbound Roosevelt Bridge (Interstate Route 66), according to a notice from the District Department of Transportation (DDOT).
Detours will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Aug. 19 while crews are performing preservation repairs on the ramp.
According to DDOT the detour will be as follows:
"While the ramp is closed traffic will be directed across the outbound Roosevelt Bridge (I-66) to Lee Highway then to Fort Myer Drive and onto Route 50 West."
