K Street Lane Closures Friday Through Monday
K Street closures will alternate between eastbound and westbound lanes starting Friday night.
Drivers should expect lane closures on K Street NW between 21st and 27th Streets NW beginning Friday night and lasting through Monday at 5 a.m. as the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) performs roadway maintenance.
Crew will close eastbound lanes beginning Friday at 10:30 p.m. and will switch the closure to the westbound lanes at night on Saturday, according to a DDOT news release.
"While the eastbound lanes are closed the westbound lanes will remain open and while the westbound lanes are closed the eastbound lanes will remain open," according to DDOT.
There will not be any closures of service lanes or cross streets along this stretch of K Street.
