Canal Road to Close for Routine Maintenance
DDOT advises using MacArthur Boulevard as an alternate route.
The District Department of Transportation will close a stretch of Canal Road, between Arizona Avenue and Foxhall Road, for routine curb and shoulder maintenance this week.
The area will be blocked off from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
DDOT encourages drivers to use Foxhall Road, MacArthur Boulevard and Arizona Avenue as an alternate route. Detour signs will be in place, the department said in an announcement.
