Donate Gently Used Towels to the Georgetown Ministry Center
Drop off donations any day of the week.
Got some old towels taking up space in a linen cabinet? Consider donating them to the Georgetown Ministry Center's (GMC) shower program.
The center, housed in a space beneath Grace Church, offers 20 showers a day, seven days a week for local homeless people.
With that many showers, the towels are retired as cleaning rags quickly. Also the towels are often taken by homeless guests who need them on the street, according to a recent GMC blog post.
You can donate your towels any day of the week between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The Georgetown Ministry Center is located at 1041 Wisconsin Ave. NW.
