How you can help: If you're interested in volunteering your time at the cathedral, a spokeswoman explained how to get involved. "Make a difference at the cathedral, in the Washington community and in your own life by becoming a cathedral volunteer. All are welcome at this national house of prayer for all people. There are many types of jobs available and varied time requirements. Of course, the reward for service is always the service itself, but benefits include reserved seating at special worship services, special enrichment programs and a discount in cathedral shops."
