Bacchus Wine Cellar

Flag as Inappropriate

A neat little storefront on Wisconsin Avenue, Bacchus Wine Cellar's entire collection consists of boutique wines (and some spirits). Prices range from $10 to hundreds of dollars per bottle, and the products come from all over the world, from New Zealand to France to California. Store employees can suggest pairings. The inside of the store is packed wall-to-wall with wines, and crates of wine take up most of the middle of the floor. Still, the store feels organized rather than cramped. And for an elegant touch, speakers play orchestral music — like Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries."
