The Georgetown Interim Library opened on M Street in December 2008 after a fire damaged much of the Georgetown Neighborhood Library. The interim library has 20,000 books, DVD, CDs and other items in circulation. Library users can have any item available in the city-wide catalog delivered to the Georgetown Interim Library within 48 hours for pick-up. The interim location will remain open until the original building re-opens in October 2010.
