Old Glory Bar-B-Que

Flag as Inappropriate

Old Glory Bar-B-Que is not just patriotic in name, but since 1990, the bar and restaurant has boasted Southern style barbecue that has won competitions all over the country.

Inside, the bar is steeped in Americana, from a wall dedicated to Elvis memorabilia to its bar, which was purchased from a restaurant that sat across from Sun Records in Memphis, Tenn., and where Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash themselves often sat during recording breaks. Behind the bar is Old Glory's collection of over 80 Bourbons, the largest collection in the D.C. area. Patrons who try all of their varieties join the "bourbon club," and earn a name plaque on the wall near the entrance.

The two-story restaurant and bar serves burgers, sandwiches and salads, but its signature dishes are listed under the "True Q" section of the menu, like St. Louis Ribs, Beef Brisket and "Sticky Chicken."
