From Vietnam to AmericasCHILD RELAY. It is the story, as seen through the eyes of children who participated in this year round LIFELONG CHILDREN/YOUTH DEVELOPMENT program, that I developed to help children, but also to serve as therapy for my post Vietnam battle with PTSD. Today, it has become known as 'PTG or Post Traumatic Growth. I've been "DOING IT" for almost 30 yrs. The program was developed in the mid-1980's in part, as a response to the infamous Reagan Administration study of the decade of the American Education system, "A Nation At Risk". Over the years since I started the program in 1986, we've impacted the lives (in a positive progressive manner) of hundreds of children (now adults)...these are SOME OF THEIR STORIES and I am looking for SUPPORT and ASSISTANCE in bringing this program to Washington, DC and Maryland. I've also began the process of working with Homeless Veterans to embrace this concept of PTG and to help our CHILDREN enjoy "OPPORTUNITIES & OPTIONS". Want to learn more, contact Ted at "maillarrym6@gmail.com" or "tedl@liberaltoons.com"....
