Billy Reid Opening in Early May

Billy Reid is coming to Georgetown at 3211 M St. NW.

After years of looking for just the right location to open shop in Georgetown, Billy Reid is opening at new store at 3211 M St. NW in May. The space was formerly occupied by UNO Chicago Grill. "We’ve been looking forward to opening a shop in Georgetown for several years and are excited to have things come together the way they have," designer and owner Billy Reid said in a press release. The multi-level store will include curated areas focused on unique elements within the collection such as the Women’s collection, the Made in the USA Heirloom line and even a space for made-to-measure services. Billy Reid Coming to Georgetown (Again)

After 2011 plans never materialized, Billy Reid is coming to Georgetown this spring.

Billy Reid, an American luxury retail brand, is opening a store at 3211 M St. NW, the former Uno Chicago Grill space. They hope to open by the end of April. "We are thrilled to be joining the neighborhood and look forward to becoming a part of the community on M street," Sarah Trapp, a spokeswoman for the company, said in an email to Patch Friday. Billy Reid had previously planned to bring a retail store to Georgetown at 3213 M St. NW, the home of Riccardi of Georgetown, in 2011, but it never materialized. Last week DC Curbed posted a photo of a "Coming Soon" sign on the new M Street space.
