This Week's Weather: Sunny and 60 Degrees Thanksgiving Day

This week starts out cloudy and chilly, but still warmer than average for this time of year.

The D.C. area will see a warmer-than-usual Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, with temperatures reaching 60 degrees, about 9 degrees warmer than normal, according to the National Weather Service. The week starts out chilly and cloudy with temperatures Monday and Tuesday reaching 54 degrees, which is still warmer than average. The days are forecast to be cloudy. Wednesday warms up a bit to 56 degrees with partly sunny skies, according to forecasts. Thanksgiving Day on Thursday should see sunny skies and a high near 60 degrees, perfect for getting the kids outside to play before the big dinner or walking off turkey and the trimmings.
