Bonobos, an online menswear retailer, opens its first permanent DC area Guideshop Tuesday at 3320 Cady’s Alley. When a man walks into the Bonobos Guideshop in Georgetown's Cady's Alley, he's supposed to feel like he's at home in his rustic loft apartment with leather lounge chairs, old traveling trunks and all. The new Guideshop concept allows customers to book complimentary appointments to explore the merchandise and get fitted by a store professional. A retail store, however, it is not. Online men's clothier Bonobos is coming to Cady's Alley at 3320 Cady's Alley NW just off of M Street NW in Georgetown. The online retailer is expected to open its brick and mortar Georgetown "Guideshop" in January. Bonobos takes over the 1,000-square-foot space from Yves Delorme. The Georgetown location will be the company's sixth Guideshop store in the United States, including a pop-up shop in Bethesda.
