Malmaison Opening in Early Spring
The music, art and pastry venue will open beneath the Whitehurst Freeway in Georgetown in early spring.
Malmaison, the third establishment from the Popal family, will bring music, art and pastries to its new bar/restaurant venue at 3401 K St. NW beginning early this spring. A sign on the door now reads, "Coming Soon," and Zeina Davis, the special event coordinator and marketing manager for the Popal businesses, told Patch they are hoping to officially open in early spring, though the date is not finalized. The venue has been the scene of several arts and charity events, though it has not officially open as the public restaurant/bar it intends to be.
