Ella Rue was the overwhelming favorite consignment boutique among voters this week.
We asked you what was your favorite consignment boutique in Georgetown and 63 percent of voters said Ella Rue. Ella Rue recently moved into a larger space across the street from its original location on P Street, just one block off of Wisconsin Avenue. Owner Krista Johnson said she tries to create a "no-pressure" environment and a sense of "community" in her shop at 3231 P St., NW. "It's like going into a friend' s closet," she explained. After graduating from college Johnson settled down in Georgetown, found friends and found a sense of community, she explained.
