Bank of Georgetown Chairman, Georgetown Resident Dies

Curtin Winsor III lived in Georgetown with his wife and three daughters.

Curtin Winsor III, the executive chairman of Bank of Georgetown, died either late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, according to the Washington Business Journal. Winsor was an active member of the Georgetown community, as a resident and a board member on the Georgetown Business Improvement District, serving as the BID Finance Chair. At the Georgetown Business Association holiday meeting Wednesday evening, Vice President Janine Schoonover asked those in attendance to take a moment of silence and to keep Winsor's "family, friends and the Bank of Georgetown family in our thoughts this holiday season."
