Glover Park Dog Park Nearing Completion
Guy Mason dog park should open in early December.
The dog park at Guy Mason Recreation Center in Glover Park should open in early December, a pre-holiday holiday gift for its canine patrons. Earlier this year, users of a 6,400-square-foot, ad hoc dog park at Guy Mason Recreation Center organized as the Dogs of Guy Mason Alliance (DOGMA) to formally register the dog park next to the baseball field. The park closed on Oct. 15 for construction activities and, according to an email from DOGMA coordinators Adriana Cordero and Amanda MacKaye, it should open in early December.
