Fiola Mare, a new Italian seafood concept from restaurateur Fabio Trabocchi, signed a 15-year lease for some 9,000 square feet of space at the Washington Harbour, 3050 K St. NW, according to a press release. Trabocchi has already made a name for himself downtown at Fiola, named one of America's "Best New Restaurants" 2012 by Bon Appetit and a 2012 RAMMY award winner for "Best New Restaurant." The restaurant is on the Georgetown Advisory Neighborhood Commission agenda for March 4 for review of a liquor license application. Fabio Trabocchi's plan to open a restaurant at the Washington Harbour — called Fiola Mare — will have its first public review at next week's Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC). Trabocchi opened Fiola downtown in April 2011. It's been named one of America's "Best New Restaurants" 2012 by Bon Appetit and a 2012 RAMMY award winner for "Best New Restaurant."
