Georgetown Dash Unleashes Competitors Tonight
The scavenger hunt will take over Georgetown from 6 to 9 p.m.
Teams of Washingtonians will take to the streets of Georgetown Thursday night for a scavenger hunt, aptly named "The Georgetown Dash." The event benefits Girls on the Run DC (GOTR DC), a nonprofit "dedicated to character development for young girls." The event is co-sponsored by the Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID), City Sports Georgetown, Mr. Smith's and of course GOTR DC. The starting line at City Sports (3338 M St. NW) will feature a DJ and gift bags for participants. The race begins at 7 p.m. Georgetown businesses will hold the clues and participants will complete either physical or mental challenges before moving to the next destination.
