Pepco Work Impacts Wisconsin Avenue, Volta and 35th Streets

The Georgetown conversion project is part of Pepco's Reliability Enhancement Plan.

Pepco trucks will continue to dot the landscape in Georgetown for the next several weeks as crews work on the Georgetown conversion project. The conversion project in Georgetown is part of the $318 million Pepco 5-year Reliability Enhancement Plan for the District of Columbia. As part of the project, crews are installing new electrical conduits and replacing the existing 4kV feeders with 13kV feeders that will increase the capacity of the electrical system for the neighborhood.
