Good Stuff Eatery hopes to open at 3291 M St. before Christmas.
Good Stuff Eatery is putting the final touches on the design for its Georgetown location and hopes to open at 3291 M St. by mid-to-late December. David Greenberg, Chef Spike Mendelsohn's partner in the project, will be the owner and operator of the Georgetown location. "We are excited and proud and pleased to be coming to Georgetown," Greenberg said. The new burger eatery will have the same menu as the Capitol Hill location; it will be recognizable on M Street with its trademark red awnings. Top Chef's Chef Spike Mendelsohn hopes to open the M Street location of his popular burger joint by December.
It's official: Good Stuff Eatery is coming to 3291 M St., replacing Crepe Amour and Georgetown Wing Co. Good Stuff, a burger restaurant by Top Chef Spike Mendelsohn, has a Capitol Hill location and will open its second location in Crystal City this spring. "We plan on beginning construction this June and opening in December. The space is very similar to the set up in our current Capitol Hill location," said Jordyn Lazar, a spokesperon for Good Stuff. But where will the next Good Stuff Eatery be located?
Chef Spike Mendelsohn just launched a new website this week and offered further confirmation that he plans to bring Good Stuff Eatery to Georgetown in 2012, but there is still no official location. Patch asked where exactly he might be moving in and when. We know the when: Fall 2012. There where is still a matter of speculation. Good Stuff spokesperson, Jordyn Lazar, told Patch in an email: The current tenant of our location in Georgetown is still operating a business in the space for the time being. Until they vacate and we begin construction, we are not disclosing the location or timeline.
